Onuoha tips Rangers for title

Enugu Rangers striker, Emeka Onuoha has tipped his side to emerge champions of the 2010/2011 Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season.
Rangers were imperious, Sunday, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, smashing Ocean Boys five-two to raise hopes among the long suffering faithful.
Super sub, Onuoha is fanning the blue torch paper of public expectancy as he has now declared the flying antelopes favourites for the title.
“I think we have what it takes to win the title. We have very good players this season and I will be surprised if don’t win the league or at least get a champions league place,” he told SuperSport.com.
Rangers will now look to consolidate in their next game at home to Zamfara United who are hovering just above the relegation zone but Onuoha does not want his teammates to be lulled into a false sense of security.
“We must approach that game with seriousness because in football anything can happen. It will not be an easy game but I pray we get all three points,” he said.
Rangers have won all but one of their three games thus far, one point behind the joint leaders and are the top scorers so far with eight goals from three matches.
