Head coach of Bukola Babes, Festus Allen, could not hide his excitement that his team will take centre stage on the World of Champions in this weekend’s fixture in Nigeria’s Premier League.“It is good that we are getting more television coverage . . . people are beginning to see that we are not in the Premier League to complete the numbers. This will really encourage us to have a go at our opponents,” Allen said.
Allen will hope that Yusuf Abubakar, Fade Adebayo, Audu Akeem, Effiom Otu-Bassey, Seun Sogbesan, Bashir Abdulrahman, Olayiwola Ayeleso, Vincent Ogar and Daniel Etor hit the ground running in Ilaro.
Crown goalkeeper Ayobami Ojo says he and his teammates are ready to put up their best performance for Sunday’s clash with Bukola Babes in order to climb out of relegation zone.
Ojo said: “We are very ready for them. Our intention is to take three points and move out of relegation.”
Bukola Babes currently occupy seventh position and will be keen to win their first game on the road.
Commentators Bowie Atama and Ralph Chidozie George will capture every moment of the game live on your World of Champions.
